Mein Vater ist seit 6 Monaten privat bezahlter Patient am Carrington Place in Wytheville VA. Seine Zähne (natürlich) wurden NIE geputzt, außer wenn ich es tat. Seine Zehennägel wurden NIE abgeschnitten und sind so lang, dass sie sich zusammenrollen. Er ist seit Tagen unrasiert und sollte 2 mal die Woche duschen. Er hatte das Glück, 1 pro Woche zu bekommen. Ich besuchte ihn jeden zweiten Tag und sah von einem Besuch zum anderen das gleiche schmutzige Hemd an ihm. Ich habe das Personal mehrmals gebeten, ihm die Zähne zu putzen, zu baden, zu rasieren und seine Zehennägel pflegen zu lassen. Alles, was ich bekam, war eine respektlose Haltung. Ein weiteres Problem ist ihr Abrechnungssystem. Völlig und absichtlich verwirrend, damit Sie nicht wissen, was Sie bezahlen sollen oder nicht. Unterm Strich ... die Pflege, die er erhält, ist nicht annähernd die 7000 US-Dollar pro Monat, die er zahlt. Fahrlässigkeit schlicht und einfach und ich habe vor, die zuständigen Behörden zu kontaktieren. Oh, und ich habe Bilder.

Diese Einrichtung braucht eine Überholung und Vorschläge zur Überwindung von Nachlässigkeit von Patienten und unehrlichen, unfairen Abrechnungspraktiken. Sie quälen ältere Menschen und ihre Familien. Ich werde meinen Kongressabgeordneten kontaktieren.

Dies war einer der unorganisierten Jobs, an denen ich je gearbeitet habe. Als Manager fühlte ich mich nie zugetraut, die richtige Entscheidung zu treffen. Es gibt eine Menge Leute in der Führung, die keine Erfahrung in dem haben, was sie tun. Bei diesem Job wurde ich ständig per E-Mail wegen Fristen gemobbt und arbeitete unter zwei Stellenbeschreibungen! Davor hatte ich noch nie von so etwas gehört.
Ich habe 2 Stellenbeschreibungen unterschrieben, für die ich verantwortlich bin, aber mein Gehalt war nur für eine. Das Beste an dem Job war das Personal an vorderster Front, das mehr als UNTERSCHÄTZT ist! Es gibt kein Mitarbeiter-des-Monats-Programm und keine Anerkennung. In den letzten 9 Wochen habe ich beobachtet, wie Mitarbeiter krank wurden, während sie sich um viele COVID-Bewohner kümmerten. Sie stellen sich selbst aufs Spiel. Ich war dort 9 Monate hatte 2 Administratoren. Mangelnde Konsequenz, Vertrauen in das Management und Zusammenhalt im Unternehmen sind der Grund, warum es nicht wieder schwarz wird, sondern in den roten Zahlen bleibt... Geld zu verlieren. Ich bin mir ziemlich sicher, dass die Eigentümer die Gebäude verkaufen werden. Es tut mir leid für Mitarbeiter, Bewohner und Familien.
