Das Whim Museum ist wunderschön als Denkmal und historisches Zeugnis der Plantagenzeit auf St. Croix erhalten. Das Museum verfügt über mehrere erhaltene Gebäude, darunter das Große Haus, die Küche, Nebengebäude, Windmühlen usw. Alle dokumentieren die Zeit, in der im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert Sklavenarbeit im Plantagensystem eingesetzt wurde. Die Erfahrung war außergewöhnlich. Die Geschichte der Plantage mit der Aufklärung über Sklaverei und ihre Auswirkungen auf die Menschen. Die Displays und historischen Referenzen lieferten mir neue Informationen und ein neues Bewusstsein für die Sklaverei. Die Unterbringung des Personals zur Unterstützung einer Person mit einer Behinderung war wunderbar. Valerie und einige Mitarbeiter waren wirklich erstklassig darin, unsere Erfahrung lehrreich und positiv zu machen. Das Grundstück des Hauses und das gesamte Material waren gut gemacht.
