Wir heißen Sie herzlich willkommen, unser 52 Hektar großes, wunderschön gepflegtes Gelände zu erkunden und mehr über die Architektur und Geschichte zu erfahren.

Auf diesem Friedhof befinden sich viele Männer und Frauen, die einen großen Beitrag zu St. Louis geleistet haben, darunter Rabbiner, Kantoren, Philanthropen, Wirtschaftsführer, politische Persönlichkeiten und Veteranen aus allen größeren Konflikten seit dem mexikanisch-amerikanischen Krieg im Jahr 1846.

Dies ist ein wunderschöner jüdischer Friedhof mit einer reichen Geschichte. Es ist interessant, durch den Friedhof zu gehen und einige der Inschriften auf den Denkmälern und Markierungen zu lesen. Einige von ihnen sind wirklich traurig, wenn man merkt, dass es die Stelle eines Kindes markiert, aber ein paar Stellen weiter befindet sich das Grab eines Hundertjährigen. Hier sind viele Menschen begraben, die einen großen Beitrag zur jüdischen Gemeinde geleistet haben, aber es gibt auch viele gewöhnliche Menschen, die hier begraben sind und ihr Leben ruhig gelebt haben. Ein interessanter und ruhiger Ort, um die Architektur der vielen privaten Mausoleen, Sarkarphagi, Denkmäler und Markierungen zu bestaunen und die natürliche Schönheit der Umgebung zu genießen.

Mein Bruder Rick ist am 22.10.19 unerwartet verstorben. Es war traurig und schmerzhaft, besonders für meine 87 1/2 jährige Mutter, ihren Sohn zu begraben. Sie waren mehr als zuvorkommend für uns. Sie haben die Dinge in dieser Zeit der Trauer besser gemacht und es unserer Familie leicht gemacht. Ich schätze ihre Freundlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit. Ich danke dir sehr. Rick ruht sich jetzt in Frieden aus.
