Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit der Betreuung, die unsere kürzlich verstorbene Mutter / Schwiegermutter in den letzten Jahren bei CAMA erhalten hat. Das Personal war professionell, fürsorglich und freundlich. Wir finden, dass CAMA außergewöhnlich war.

Meine Schwiegermutter verbrachte über 4 Jahre als Bewohnerin in CAMA Woodlands. Sie wurde von allen Mitarbeitern bestens betreut und zeigte auf ihrer schwierigen Reise mit der Alzheimer-Krankheit stets ihren Respekt, ihre Geduld, ihr Mitgefühl und ihre Liebe. Mutter profitierte vom Schmetterlingsprogramm zur Demenzversorgung, das sich auf ihre individuellen Bedürfnisse konzentrierte. Was für ein Erfolg dieses Programms war und die Mitarbeiter sollten für alles, was sie beigetragen haben, bewundert werden. Ich fühle mich gesegnet, dass Mama in den letzten Jahren bei uns von der CAMA "Familie" für sie gesorgt hat.

Meine Tante ging nach Cama Woodlands, weil wir nach Waterdown gezogen sind. Die Pflege war angemessen, aber sie waren sehr fahrlässig und sie starb wegen ihrer Nachlässigkeit. Meine Tante fiel und schlug auf Kopf und Schläfe. Sie riefen mich erst viel später an (Familienkontaktperson) und obwohl sie sich übergeben hatte, sagten sie, dass es ihr gut gehe. Jetzt wussten sie, dass sie Blutverdünner hatte und sie hätte ins Krankenhaus gebracht werden sollen, um einen Gehirn-Scan zu machen, um zu sehen, ob Gehirnblutungen vorliegen. Sie haben nicht. Meine Mutter (ihre Schwester) war im Joseph Brant Hospital und als sie mich anriefen, war ich dort und wollte sie später sehen. Ich kam nach Hause, um die Hunde rauszulassen, bevor ich zu meiner Tante ging. Ich erhielt einen Anruf von einer der Krankenschwestern, dass meine Tante kein Abendessen wollte und nur ins Bett gehen wollte. Sie legte sie hin und sie reagierte nicht. Anstatt sofort den Krankenwagen zu rufen, riefen sie mich an, um mich zu fragen, ob es normal sei, dass sie ihnen nicht antwortete (jetzt war sie fast zwei Jahre dort). Ich sagte ihnen NEIN und sie sollten sofort die Unruhe anrufen. Mir wurde gesagt, sie könne es nicht, wenn der Arzt ihnen nicht befehle. Ich gab ihnen genau 1 Minute, um mich zurückzurufen und mir mitzuteilen, dass sie sie angerufen hatten, und zwar innerhalb von 30 Sekunden. Sie rief zurück und sagte, der Krankenwagen sei unterwegs. Mein Sohn war vorbeigekommen und innerhalb kurzer Zeit, als ich das Haus verließ, rief der Notarzt von Joseph Brant an und sagte, wenn ich sie lebend sehen wollte, um mich dort hinunter zu bringen, weil sie eine schwere Gehirnblutung hatte und es nichts gab, was das könnte getan werden. Also ging meine Tante wegen der Nachlässigkeit von Camahoodlands weg. Sie übernahmen keine Verantwortung für ihre Handlungen oder das Fehlen von ... Sehr traurig, dass meine Mutter ihre jüngere Schwester verloren hat und ich einen guten Freund verloren habe und mein Sohn seine Patin aufgrund der Nachlässigkeit der Mitarbeiter von Cama Woodlands verloren hat. Pass auf, was los ist. Ich hatte bei mehreren Gelegenheiten mehrere Bewohner mit schweren Blutergüssen beobachtet. Nur sagen! Ich habe die Regierung angerufen und NICHTS getan, nicht einmal eine Untersuchung!

Meine Mutter verbrachte ihre letzten anderthalb Jahre bei CAMA. Meine Familie und ich fanden das Personal fürsorglich, mitfühlend und respektvoll. Die Anlage war durchweg sauber und gut gepflegt. Ich hatte immer das Gefühl, dass meine Mutter in guten Händen war und dass ich auf dem Laufenden gehalten wurde. Ich war ein regelmäßiger Besucher hier und beobachtete, wie nicht nur meine Mutter, sondern auch andere Bewohner von persönlichen Betreuern und anderen Mitarbeitern liebevoll behandelt wurden. Ich kann CAMA Woodlands nur empfehlen.
