Mein 16-jähriger besuchte 12 Wochen lang das Intensiv-Ambulanzprogramm. Während der letzten 3 Wochen begann er wieder positiv zu testen und die Programm- und Gruppenleiter versäumten es, mich oder meinen Mann zu informieren (obwohl sie an jeder Familiengruppe teilnahmen und mein Sohn eine Freilassung unterschrieb). Als ich anrief, um eine Unterrichtszeit zu überprüfen, sagte mir die Beraterin meines Sohnes, dass sie ihm nicht helfen könne und verwies mich auf ein anderes Programm. Sie haben sich dafür entschuldigt, dass sie mich nicht über seinen Rückfall informiert haben, und das ist das einzig Schöne, was ich über das Programm sagen kann.

Das PHP- und IOP-Programm war hilfreich und das, was ich damals brauchte, aber ich fühlte, dass der größte Teil des Einfühlungsvermögens, der Motivation und der Unterstützung von anderen Gruppenmitgliedern als von den Mitarbeitern kam. Die Mitarbeiter sind keine schlechten Leute, ich denke, sie kümmern sich bis zu einem gewissen Grad um die Individuen, aber leider machen sie jeden Tag einen Beruf und verlieren diese echte Note. Sie können nicht erwarten, dass sie sich tatsächlich um Sie kümmern, und zwar auf Kosten ihrer Regeln und Vorschriften. Fühlt sich einfach wie eine Erweiterung der Unternehmenswelt im Bereich der psychischen Gesundheit an. Ich bin dankbar für meine Erfahrungen hier, aber ich schulde es mir selbst und den erstaunlichen Menschen, die ich getroffen habe, mehr als den Mitarbeitern.
