Ich besitze und betreibe seit 20 Jahren ein kleines Unternehmen in South Pasadena. Am 20. Mai 2020, mitten in der Covid-19-Pandemie, kam jemand aus diesem Geschäft herein, um ein Paket an Marina Del Rey zu versenden. Es war sehr groß und wertvoll. Aufgrund unserer Versicherungsbedingungen haben wir angegeben, dass der Versand am nächsten Tag erfolgen muss. Wir betonten ihn wegen der Pandemie, UPS Flugdienste am nächsten Tag und am zweiten Tag waren nicht mehr garantiert (Geld-zurück-Garantie). Er sagte, er verstehe, habe aber keine Zeit, es selbst zu nehmen, und würde es am nächsten Tag per UPS senden. Aufgrund des extrem hohen Volumens verzögerte sich das Paket und wurde am 22. Mai einen Tag zu spät geliefert. Einen Monat später stelle ich fest, dass die Gebühr für die Sendung von seiner Kreditkarte abgebucht wurde. Jetzt muss ich mir die Zeit nehmen, dies zu bestreiten. Ich bin ein unabhängiges Unternehmen (ein Franchise-Unternehmen) und hätte gehofft, dass sie zuerst mit mir gesprochen haben könnten, bevor sie die Gebühr für diese Transaktion stornieren.
