Wir haben versucht, am 03.06.18 an einem Tag der offenen Tür des Summer Life Sommercamps teilzunehmen. Wir hatten mit jemandem dort gesprochen und gemailt und gesagt, dass wir dort sein würden. NIEMAND GEZEIGT. NIEMAND GERUFEN. NIEMAND E-MAILED. Ich habe versucht, die Person anzurufen, die wir treffen sollten, und sie hat weder auf einen Anruf noch auf eine Mailbox geantwortet... Heute, mehr als 12 Tage später, habe ich herausgefunden, dass sie dort nicht mehr arbeitet. Niemand hatte die Höflichkeit anzurufen. Niemand innerhalb der Organisation ist erreichbar. Selbst wenn ich heute morgen anrufe und fordere, mit einem Menschen und nicht mit einer Voicemail zu sprechen, werde ich ignoriert. VÖLLIG sauer, dass ich eine 3-stündige Rundfahrt für absolut nichts verschwendet habe. VOLLSTÄNDIG sauer, dass sich niemand in dieser Organisation um irgendetwas kümmert. Ich kann einen lebenden Menschen außer dem Operator nicht erreichen.
07.08.18: Später an diesem Tag sprach ich schließlich mit jemandem, der viele Entschuldigungen für das, was passiert ist, anbot. Es gibt wirklich keine Entschuldigung. Sie bot uns an, uns auf die Warteliste zu setzen (sie war zufällig die erste auf der Warteliste und konnte letztendlich nie gehen). Jetzt ist meine autistische Tochter hyper-fokussiert auf das Camp. "Wann kann ich zurück" ist alles, was ich stundenlang höre. Danke VFES, dass du den Leuten weh getan hast, denen du eigentlich helfen sollst. Wir haben nichts falsch gemacht, ungefähr 5 Stunden unserer Zeit verschwendet, 25 Dollar Benzin und sie ganz aufgeregt, umsonst ins Camp zu gehen.
