Nur wenige Monate nach meinem Abschluss kontaktiere ich sie, weil ich nur eine Unterschrift für eine erstaunliche Gelegenheit brauchte, die ich bekam. Ich dachte, eine Unterschrift wäre kein Problem, aber als ich sie kontaktierte, erhielt ich die Antwort, dass ich kein Student mehr bin und sie das Papier nicht unterschreiben werden. Nachdem sie drei verschiedene Büros auf dem Campus kontaktiert hatten, um nur EINE Unterschrift auf einem Blatt Papier zu erhalten, gaben sie mir alle die gleiche Antwort. Jetzt sehe ich, wie sehr eine Lügenschule ist. Du sollst auf ein 4-jähriges College gehen und deinen Hintern bearbeiten, damit es dir nach deinem Abschluss leichter fällt, Chancen zu bekommen. Gut zu wissen, anstatt es einfacher zu machen, eine Gelegenheit zu bekommen, machen sie es unmöglich. Vielen Dank an Jason Wall und Marydale Leonard. Ich werde mich immer an Sie beide erinnern, weil ich eine einmalige Gelegenheit verpasst habe. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass ihr eure Lieben besser behandelt als UCI-Studenten.

Sie machen alles so kompliziert, dass mir zunächst gesagt wurde, dass das Karrierezentrum nur begehbar sei. Dies ist sehr unpraktisch für Menschen, die nicht jeden Tag auf dem Campus sein können, um zu sehen, ob ihnen geholfen werden kann. Darüber hinaus schließen sie früh um 14.00 oder 15.00 Uhr. Ich beschwerte mich schließlich und mir wurde gesagt, dass ich über die Handshake-Website einen Termin vereinbaren kann. Sie können meine Fragen oft sowieso nicht beantworten und verweisen mich woanders hin. Die einzigen Dinge, bei denen ich Hilfe bekommen habe, sind die Grundlagen; Lebenslauf, Scheininterviews und Planung für die Graduiertenschule.
