Das Australian Centre for Social Innovation (TACSI) ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation, die sich der Lösung der schwierigsten sozialen Probleme verschrieben hat und teilt, was zu einem besseren Leben führt. TACSI wurde 2009 gegründet und steht an der Spitze der sozialen Innovation in Australien und arbeitet mit Gemeinden, Regierungen und Unternehmen zusammen, um positive Veränderungen herbeizuführen.
Wir bei TACSI glauben, dass jeder eine faire Chance im Leben verdient. Unser Expertenteam hat unterschiedliche Hintergründe und bringt einzigartige Perspektiven in unsere Arbeit ein.
Unser Ansatz basiert auf Human-Centered Design Thinking. Wir beginnen damit, die Bedürfnisse von Menschen zu verstehen, die von sozialen Problemen betroffen sind, und entwickeln dann gemeinsam mit ihnen Lösungen. Dieser Ansatz stellt sicher, dass unsere Lösungen relevant, effektiv und nachhaltig sind.
Im Laufe der Jahre haben wir an mehreren Projekten gearbeitet, die einen erheblichen Einfluss auf die Gesellschaft hatten. Ein solches Projekt ist Family by Family – ein innovatives Programm, das Familien in schwierigen Zeiten unterstützt, indem es sie mit anderen Familien verbindet, die ähnliche Erfahrungen gemacht haben.
Ein weiteres Projekt, auf das wir stolz sind, ist The Big Issue's Women's Subscription Enterprise - eine Initiative, die darauf abzielt, Frauen, die von Obdachlosigkeit oder Benachteiligung betroffen sind, zu stärken, indem sie ihnen Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten bietet.
Bei TACSI forschen wir auch und teilen unsere Erkenntnisse mit anderen im Bereich der sozialen Innovation. Unsere Veröffentlichungen umfassen Berichte zu Themen wie der Mitgestaltung von Diensten für gefährdete Gemeinschaften und der Schaffung von Systemveränderungen in komplexen Umgebungen.
Wir glauben an Zusammenarbeit als Schlüsselfaktor für Veränderungen. Aus diesem Grund arbeiten wir mit Organisationen aus verschiedenen Sektoren zusammen, um gemeinsam etwas zu bewirken. Einige unserer Partner sind Regierungsbehörden wie die South Australia Health Commissioning Unit und Unternehmen des Privatsektors wie die Westpac Group Foundation.
