Mein Vater ist viele Male gefallen, einige Male wurden wir, die Familie, nicht einmal über den Sturz informiert. Was für ein Schock, hereinzukommen und zu sehen, wie dein geliebter Mensch von einem Sturz schwarz und blau ist. Die meisten Pflegekräfte, denen ich begegnet bin, scheinen ziemlich unfreundlich zu sein. Sie haben wenig oder gar keine Zeit oder Lust, mit Ihnen über Ihren geliebten Menschen zu sprechen. Dies gilt insbesondere für das Management. Ich habe mehr als ein paar Bewohner gesehen, die eine Rasur und einen Wechsel der Kleidung gebrauchen könnten. Keine Zeit, denke ich? Nicht genug Personal? Ich bin ständig hier. Vielen Dank an unsere Pflegekräfte an vorderster Front. "Ja wirklich?" Ehrlich gesagt habe ich besser erwartet. Andererseits dachte ich tatsächlich, dass sich die Leute darum kümmern. Was für ein Idiot ich bin. Meine bisherigen Erfahrungen waren äußerst enttäuschend. Ich habe wenig Hoffnung, dass sich dies ändern wird.
