Wir lieben Sophias Hearth Family Center! Unsere Tochter besucht seit ihrem 20. Lebensmonat ihr Kindertagesstättenprogramm und unser Sohn besucht sie seit seinem siebten Lebensmonat (sie sind jetzt 2 und 4 Jahre alt). Sobald ich das Gebäude für ein Tag der offenen Tür betrat, fühlte ich ein immenses Gefühl des Friedens und wusste, dass dies der Ort war, an dem ich wollte, dass meine Kinder während meiner Arbeit betreut werden. Die Einrichtung und die Farben der Zimmer sind sehr beruhigend und nicht übermäßig anregend. Oft riecht es auch warm und einladend nach etwas, das für das Mittagessen des Tages gekocht wird (das die Kinder bei der Zubereitung unterstützen). Die Lehrer haben eine unglaubliche Beziehung zu Kindern und einen Respekt für die Kinder. Kinder werden ermutigt, in ihrem eigenen Tempo zu spielen und zu lernen. Es gibt Respekt vor selbstinitiiertem Lernen und Entwicklung. Kinder genießen viel Geschichtenerzählen und Singen, die auch für Übergangszeiten verwendet werden. Es gibt einen starken Sinn für Rhythmus. Ich bin so dankbar, dass wir auf Sophias Herd gestoßen sind, weil ich so viel gelernt habe, dass ich sonst vielleicht nichts über Kinderentwicklung und Elternschaft gelernt hätte, wenn wir dies nicht als unseren Tagesbetreuer gewählt hätten. Meine Kinder lieben es dort und verbringen viel Zeit außerhalb der Erkundung. Der Hinterhof ist ein erstaunlicher Spielraum und wurde sehr sorgfältig angelegt. Es gibt einen Garten, den die Kinder gerne pflegen. Jeden Tag wird ein gesundes Bio-Mittagessen zusammen mit Snacks angeboten, was ein großer Vorteil ist und in den Programmkosten enthalten ist. Sie haben auch ein Windelprogramm, in dem Sie Ihre Windeln vorab kaufen können, so dass Sie wirklich nicht viel täglich packen müssen, abgesehen von zusätzlicher Kleidung (weil sie viel draußen spielen). Ich kann gar nicht genug darüber sagen, was für eine außergewöhnliche Kindertagesstätte dies ist. Sie haben uns geholfen, während wir als Eltern wachsen und uns entwickeln. Unsere Gemeinde hat das große Glück, dieses hochwertige und kleine Kindertagesstättenprogramm zu haben. Es wird ein trauriger Tag für uns, wenn unsere Kinder das Programm abgeschlossen haben und Sophias Herd nicht mehr Teil unserer täglichen Routine ist.
