Ich war 2010 wegen Fußschmerzen in der Poudre Valley Foot & Ankle Clinic. Bei mir wurde Plantarfasziitis diagnostiziert und ich durchlief die typische Behandlung einschließlich kundenspezifischer Orthesen für 450,00 USD, kaufte mehrere teure Sportschuhe (der Arzt schlug jeden Schuh mit einer Marke vor, die mit "A" begann), 1 Versuch mit Injektionen, aber äußerst schmerzhaft und unwirksam. Nach ungefähr einem Jahr riet der Arzt mir, mich operieren zu lassen, um die Faszie in beiden Füßen zu lösen. Ich hatte die Operation mit der Hoffnung, dass die Schmerzen gelindert würden. Zu meiner Überraschung und äußersten Enttäuschung gab es keinerlei Verbesserung! Das Ausmaß und die Art der Schmerzen gingen weiter. Ich hatte 1 Narbe auf beiden Seiten meines Knöchels, ganz zu schweigen von ein paar tausend Dollar weniger auf meinem Girokonto. Ich beschloss, einen anderen Podologen in der Gegend aufzusuchen, und bei mir wurde das Tarsaltunnelsyndrom und nicht die Plantarfasziitis diagnostiziert! Ich erhielt zu diesem Zeitpunkt keine wirkliche Behandlung außer einem anderen Paar Orthesen. Podologe Nr. 3 gab mir auch die Diagnose eines Tarsaltunnelsyndroms und verschrieb mir erneut ein Paar Orthesen. Was sehr beunruhigend ist, ist, dass ich vom Podologen bei PVFA falsch diagnostiziert wurde und unnötig operiert wurde! Überhaupt keine gute Erfahrung, also Vorsicht.
