ÜbersetztUPDATE am 6. Juni 2013: Nachdem meine Schwägerin drei Tage mit Optimal und Medicare telefoniert hatte, bekamen wir endlich das, was wir brauchten, und der Service verbesserte sich erheblich. Jessica Janney (Physiotherapeutin) und das RN waren so hilfreich, um uns bei der Navigation zu helfen. Jessica ist mit einem Wort erstaunlich. Wir sind froh, dass wir es endlich geschafft haben. Optimal Health Services war nichts anderes als enttäuschend.
Bei meiner Schwiegermutter wurde am 7. April 2013 Hirntumor im Stadium 5 diagnostiziert. Etwas mehr als eine Woche später, am 14. April, kam sie nach Hause und das Hospiz begann über Optimal Health Services. 3 Tage später, am 17. April, teilten wir der Krankenschwester mit, dass wir unsere Dienste auf häusliche Gesundheit anstatt auf Hospiz umstellen würden, da meine Schwiegermutter eine Behandlung suchen wollte. Das RN von Optimal Health teilte uns mit, dass ein Wechsel kein Problem darstellen würde, sagte uns jedoch nicht, wie lange es dauern würde, bis wir aus dem Hospiz entlassen und in die häusliche Gesundheit aufgenommen wurden.
Gestern, am 20. Mai, waren 5 Telefonanrufe bei Optimal Health erforderlich, um die richtigen Informationen zu erhalten und ein wichtiges Rezept nachzufüllen. Sie haben Geld genommen, aber nichts getan. Wir sollten gestern zwei Physiotherapie-Termine haben, und niemand kam oder rief an.
Ebenfalls gestern teilte uns der Abteilungsleiter mit, dass der Status meiner Schwiegermutter endlich vom Hospiz auf die häusliche Gesundheit umgestellt werden würde. Ihre Bestrahlungs- und Chemotherapie-Behandlungen wurden bereits dreimal zurückgedrängt, da sie auf das Update gewartet haben.
Später am Nachmittag rief sie zurück und entschuldigte sich für die Fehlinformationen und teilte uns mit, dass die Hospizabrechnung 14 Tage dauert, um Medicare zu durchlaufen, was bedeutet, dass sie erst am 30. Mai abgeschlossen sein würde. Dies wird die Behandlungen zum vierten Mal mit den Ärzten zurückschieben.
Warum wurde die Abrechnung nicht durchgeführt, als wir vor über einem Monat darum baten, aus dem Hospiz entlassen zu werden?
Warum hat niemand bei Optimal verstanden, wie das Medicare-System funktioniert, einschließlich des Abrechnungsleiters?
Das einzige helle Licht ist Yvonne, die kommt und meine Schwiegermutter badet, und es ist großartig, mit ihr zu arbeiten.
Wenn Sie daran interessiert sind, dass jemand bald stirbt, um Versicherungsgeld zu sammeln, verwenden Sie Optimal. Wenn die betreffende Person ein geliebter Mensch ist, tun Sie dies nicht.
