Ihre lokale Berichterstattung in Bezug auf Dickson und Cheatham Counties ist der ihrer "Konkurrenz", der Gannett-eigenen Zeitungen, die hauptsächlich in jüngster Zeit aus Inhalten bestehen, die aus dem "Tennessean" nachgedruckt wurden, so überlegen, dass es keinen wirklichen Vergleich gibt. Die Dickson Post hat in ihrer wöchentlichen Veröffentlichung mehr aktuelle lokale Inhalte als der Dickson Herald in beiden zusammen. Es ist ein gutes Papier, das zu einem besseren wird. Main Street hat es von Grund auf neu gestartet, im Gegensatz zu der Cheatam County Exchange, die es gekauft und verbessert hat, während die Gannett-Papiere dem, was sie waren, als Gannett sie kaufte, weit unterlegen sind.
