Eine der effektivsten Küstenschutzbehörden der Welt. Erstklassiges Personal.

Vielen Dank an ALLE, die sich entschieden haben, das "Chaos" in unseren Dünen in der Nähe von Oceano zu beenden. Ich habe 30 Jahre in Shell Beach gelebt und oft die Dünen und die wunderschöne Gegend von Oso Flaco besucht. Staub, Luft und lauter Lärm ruinieren die Lebensräume. Ich habe mir lange Zeit Sorgen um die vielen Vogel- und Tierarten gemacht, die in der Gegend leben.

Als langjähriger Läufer habe ich es genossen, den "harten" Sand am Pismo Beach entlang bis zum Fluss zu laufen. Ich gab das auf, nachdem ich von großen Lastwagen, die hinter mir herfuhren, "gehupt" und fast heruntergefahren worden war. Ich habe den überfüllten Strand voller Lastwagen und Anhänger von 101 gesehen ... Besucher können nicht glauben, dass dies seit Jahren so ist.
