I had a mixed experience with Halifax Urban Ministries. While their mission is commendable, the organization lacked effective communication and coordination during my time volunteering. There were moments of frustration when tasks were not clearly defined and confusion arose. However, I appreciate their efforts and understand that running a nonprofit can be challenging. With improved systems in place, they have the potential to make an even greater impact in the community.
