I had an average experience with Gold Star Parents Retreat. Although the staff was friendly and the activities were enjoyable, I felt that the retreat lacked a deeper level of emotional support. The accommodations were comfortable, but the overall atmosphere was not as nurturing as I had hoped for. Perhaps more group therapy sessions and individual counseling could enhance the healing experience for parents attending.
