I recently visited this tiki-themed restaurant located in LA Live. The ambiance was great and gave off a cool retro vibe, with dim lighting and Polynesian-inspired décor. The menu had a variety of options, ranging from appetizers to main courses and cocktails. I ordered the Hawaiian-style grilled chicken, which was decent but nothing extraordinary. The portion sizes were satisfactory, but the prices seemed a bit high for the quality of the food. The service was average, with a friendly staff but a lack of attentiveness at times. One thing that stood out was their signature Mai Tai cocktail, which was quite tasty. Overall, my experience at Trader Vic's was average - nothing too exceptional or disappointing. It's a decent spot for a casual night out, but I wouldn't consider it a must-try dining destination in LA.
